I need a go to glove pattern. Something simple and fast so I could have a new pair in a day or so. After searching through glove patterns for a while, I realized there are not many glove patterns that were not knitted in the round. And it was even harder to find a free one made out of worsted weight yarn. So, I took on the responsibility to make up my own.
It's not that I can't knit in the round, but sometimes I just don't feel like fiddling with a bunch of short needles. These gloves are women's size medium and the finger lengths are easily adjustable for longer or shorter fingers. Since these gloves are knitted flat, there is a significant amount of seaming involved. But it is spaced out throughout the project, so you will not be stuck with all of it at the end. |
